The Caramel Room at The Berkeley Hotel is the place to go for all fashionistas to enjoy their ‘Pret-a-Portea’.
After my wedding dress fitting with my mum and sister, we treated ourselves to the beautiful cake selection – each one is inspired by a designer, from YSL to Prada, Burberry to Marc Jacobs and Manolo Blahnik.

The DisneyWorld Classic #MagicKingdom
Hello! Sorry for being MIA on the blogosphere recently but it has been a rather busy and exciting time – I just got engaged and am now back in the U S and A for a mini pre-Christmas post-engagement holiday. :-)
Embracing the DisneyWorld Spirit, compete with Minnie Mouse ears, ‘on set’ at their Hollywood Studios Park
DISNEYWORLD is extraordinary – a whole city of theme parks staffed by the happiest people on Earth. Everyone who works there, from the dancers in the daily parades, to the servers at the ice cream parlour, to the tour guide playing Bugsy Malone on the Hollywood Great Movie Ride, and everyone inbetween, radiate joy and passion for what they do. Disneyworld makes dreams come true for 135 million people every year! The thrilling ‘Tower of Terror’ ride was a highlight for me – the attention to detail is very impressive everywhere in terms of the theming and decoration. The ‘Hollywood Tower Hotel’ looks exactly like The Roosevelt in Hollywood, which brought back fond memories of when I lived in Beverly Hills.
In terms of the food, as you would expect, its cinnamon galore, massive portions, burgers, popcorn, giant turkey legs and hotdogs as far as the eye can see. The best food by far was at Wolfgang Puck’s restaurant in Downtown Disney, and apart from that I allowed myself to indulge in some of America’s finest junk food, because A. my motto is always ‘moderation not deprivation’, and B. the wedding diet starts tomorrow ;-).
My very first RootBeer Float – delicious but I could only manage a few bites. #SugarOverload

Margarita Mission – I love frozen margaritas and only drink them when in America. At a Mexican Restaurant in the Epcot Theme Park I ordered this Avocado Margarita. It was very sweet and I could not finish a whole one but I am glad i tried it

With the Bride to Be, Charlotte, at Les Caves du Roi, St Tropez
I love spending time in the South of France with my close friends and family. This trip began in St Tropez with 6 girlfriends, on the second of many Hen Parties for my best friend Charlotte who is getting married in October. As I have mentioned on EmmaMcQueen.com, Provencal cuisine is varied and delicious – fresh fish, vegetables and fruits which are bulging with goodness. Here are a few photos of our Tropezienne adventures ;-)
