HELLO! Apologies for my lack of posts — I have been rather distracted with pregnancy and the birth of my adorable little baby boy. It has been a wonderful time, but, whilst being exhausted, I did not have many exciting outings to report on. Until now. I am back!

Organic UK and Monica Galetti Live

Chef Monica Galetti is helping raise awareness for the ‘Organic Naturally Different’ campaign.  She is passionate about organic ingredients, and I was fortunate enough to be invited to an event where she shared her views on organic food and even cooked up some tasty healthy treats for us ;-)

With the amazing Monica Galetti, from Masterchef the Professionals on BBC1 and Le Gavroche, the three Michelin starred Restaurant of Michel Roux Jr.

Monica Galetti comments; “As a chef, it is vital to source good quality, good value produce which is exactly what organic is. My new organic recipes show that you can really make your food go further – they aren’t just organic – they’re thrifty too. I’m excited to be helping to explain the importance of organic food and drink. It makes total sense for me to become involved in the campaign as I use lots of organic in my cooking – I see it as good value, it contains fewer pesticide residues and it also helps the environment.”

It was great to see this basket, a week’s worth of organic food for around £50 which is the average spend for a family.
